Quotes
Build and send quotes, collect client acceptance and convert them into projects.
Overview
Quotes let you present a scoped list of services to a client before starting work. Your client receives a secure public link and can accept or decline — no account required. Accepted quotes convert into projects in one click.
Note
Free plan users can create up to 3 quotes. Solo and Pro plans have no limit.
Creating a quote
Go to Dashboard → Quotes → New quote.
Quote details
- Client — select or create inline.
- Title — shown on the public quote page (e.g. "Website redesign — Q1 2025").
- Validity date — optional expiry date displayed to the client.
- Notes — any contextual information, terms or conditions.
Line items
Add one line per service:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Description | Service name or deliverable |
| Quantity | Number of units or hours |
| Unit price | Price per unit (€) |
| Total | Calculated automatically |
The quote total is the sum of all lines, shown to the client with a breakdown.
Quote statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Not yet sent — only visible to you |
| Validated | Internal validation before sending |
| Sent | Public link is active — client can view and respond |
| Accepted | Client clicked "Accept" |
| Rejected | Client clicked "Decline" |
| Expired | Validity date passed |
Sending a quote
Once your quote is ready, click Send. This:
- Changes the status to Sent
- Generates a unique public URL
- Sends the client an email with the link Solo / Pro
You can also copy the link manually and send it yourself — useful if you want to add a personal message.
Tip
On the Free plan, the client email notification is not sent automatically. Copy the link and paste it into your own email.
The client quote page
Your client lands on a clean, branded page showing:
- Quote title and your logo/colors
- Line item breakdown with totals
- Validity date (if set)
- Your notes / terms
- Two buttons: Accept and Decline
No login, no friction.
Accepting and declining
When a client accepts:
- The quote status updates to Accepted
- You receive an email notification Solo / Pro
- A "Convert to project" button appears in your dashboard
When a client declines:
- Status updates to Declined
- You receive an email notification Solo / Pro
- The quote is archived but never deleted
Converting a quote to a project
After a client accepts, open the quote and click Convert to project.
Confirm the project name
Pre-filled from the quote title — edit if needed.
Review milestones
Each quote line item becomes a milestone. You can reorder, rename or remove them before confirming.
Project is created
You're redirected to the new project. The client portal is immediately available.
Tip
Milestone amounts are copied from quote line prices — so your billing is already set up when you start the project.
Export PDF
Solo / ProClick Export PDF on any quote to download a professional PDF version. The PDF uses your logo, brand color and business details from your profile.
Duplicate a quote
Use the button Duplicate to create a copy of any quote. The duplicate is always created in Draft status, regardless of the original quote's status. Useful for recurring project types or proposal templates.
