What happens if a payment fails?

We automatically retry the charge and email you if action is needed on your side. Your plan is only downgraded once every retry has failed — a single card hiccup won't cut you off mid-project.

Yes, every subscription payment generates a downloadable invoice from your account, and the Pro plan adds accounting-friendly exports for your own client invoices too.

Is my clients' data safe?

Yes. Portal links use unique tokens you can revoke at any time, and all traffic is encrypted end to end. Your client never has broader access than the one project or client space you shared with them.

Yes, from the Solo plan you can customize the client portal and PDF exports with your own logo and colors — clients see your brand, not Cliento's.

Can clients pay directly from the portal?

Yes. Connect Stripe (or share a PayPal link) and your client can pay an invoice from the same portal link — it's marked as paid automatically, no manual reconciliation.
