Refund Policy

1. Scope
This Refund Policy applies to all paid subscription plans purchased on Cliento (cliento.dev), published by Jonathan Dhermand, sole proprietor (auto-entrepreneur) registered in Morocco. It complements our Terms of Service.
2. Right of withdrawal (14-day period)
In accordance with regulations applicable to digital services (notably the European directive 2011/83/EU for EU consumers), Users with consumer status benefit from a 14-day period from the date of subscription to exercise their right of withdrawal and request a full refund, unless service execution has already begun with their express prior consent.
To exercise this right, contact us at hello@cliento.dev within 14 days of your subscription, stating your account email and the plan purchased.
3. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account's "Subscription" area. Cancellation stops future renewals, but access to paid features remains active until the end of the period already billed. No prorated refund is issued for the unused portion of a cancelled period.
4. Refunds outside the withdrawal period
Beyond the 14-day withdrawal period described in Section 2, subscription fees are generally non-refundable. Exceptions may be granted at our discretion in the following cases:
- A major service malfunction attributable to Cliento, duly observed, that prevented you from using the paid features you were billed for;
- A duplicate or erroneous charge caused by a technical error;
- Any other situation required by applicable consumer protection law in your country of residence.
Refund requests under this section must be submitted within 30 days of the charge in question, with supporting details, to hello@cliento.dev.
5. How refunds are processed
Subscription payments are processed by our payment providers, LemonSqueezy or Paddle, depending on the method selected at checkout. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method via the relevant provider. Processing times depend on your bank or card issuer and typically take 5 to 10 business days after approval.
Cliento never holds or has direct access to your banking details; all payment data is managed exclusively by LemonSqueezy and Paddle.
6. Free plan and trials
The free plan and any promotional trial period are not subject to billing and therefore not eligible for refunds. If a trial converts automatically into a paid subscription, the withdrawal period described in Section 2 applies from the date the first paid charge occurs.
7. How to request a refund
To request a refund or cancellation, email hello@cliento.dev with your account email, the plan purchased, and the reason for your request. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
