Getting started
Create your account, set up your profile and launch your first project in minutes.
Create your account
Go to cliento.dev/register and sign up with your email. No credit card required — you start on the Free plan automatically.
Tip
You can upgrade to Solo or Pro at any time from your dashboard without losing any data.
Set up your profile
Before sending anything to a client, fill in your profile so your invoices and portal look professional.
Upload your logo
Go to Dashboard → Profile and upload your logo (PNG or SVG recommended, square format works best).
Set your brand color
Pick a primary color — it will be applied to your client portal and email templates automatically.
Add your business details
Fill in your name, address, website, phone and bio. These appear on your profile, invoices and quotes.
Write your email signature
A short sign-off line that appears at the bottom of automated emails sent to your clients.
Create your first project
Once your profile is ready, head to Dashboard → Projects → New project.
What you'll need
- A client — create one on the fly or pick an existing one.
- A project name and an optional description.
- At least one milestone — milestones are the checkpoints your client will validate.
Note
On the Free plan you can have 1 active project at a time. Upgrade to Solo or Pro for unlimited projects.
Project statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Not yet shared with the client |
| In progress | Active work, portal is accessible |
| Awaiting client | You're waiting for client feedback or payment |
| Completed | Project is done and archived |
Share the client portal
Every project gets a unique token link automatically — no login required for your client.
Go to the project page and click Share portal. Copy the link and send it however you like (email, WhatsApp, Notion…).
Your client can then:
- View project milestones and their status
- Validate or request changes on each milestone
- Leave comments
- Pay milestone invoices (Solo / Pro)
Warning
The portal link never expires. To revoke access, set the project status to Completed.
